August 2002 (Newstream) -- August 31, 2002 will mark the fifth anniversary of the tragic accident that took the life of Diana, Princess of Wales. The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Fund (US) is releasing a public service announcement featuring actress Jamie Lee Curtis. This PSA reminds people of the Princess' life and legacy and invites them to make a contribution to her organization.

The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Fund was founded with memorial gifts made by Americans at the time of her death. Contributions from Americans, along with her family's support and involvement, are continuing her work to help extremely vulnerable youth right here in the United States.

Curtis, for whom the Princess' compassionate work has been an inspiration, is a member of the Fund's Board of Directors. She kindly volunteered her time and covered all of the studio expenses associated with this PSA.
